The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
